FAITH IN ACTION: OUR
MINISTRIES
Children’s Ministry
At Lake Ann UMC, Children’s Ministry offers exciting and educational programs for kids of all ages. From Sunday School classes that explore Bible stories and teachings to fun-filled activities like Game Nights and special holiday events, we aim to instill a love for God and a sense of community from an early age.
Vacation Bible School is one of our favorite weeks each summer, watch for more details. The community is always invited to be part of this fun and faith growing experience!
Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry provides a safe and welcoming space for middle and high school students to deepen their faith and navigate the challenges of adolescence. Through weekly youth group meetings, mission trips, and service projects, our youth are encouraged to develop strong Christian values, build lasting friendships, and make a positive impact in their community.
Adult Ministries
At Lake Ann UMC, we offer a variety of opportunities to get connected and grow in faith. Our “Growth Groups” are an excellent way to build personal connections and deepen relationships within our church family.
For the men in our congregation, the Methodist Men’s group meets monthly for a devotional and breakfast, offering a time of fellowship and spiritual enrichment. Our United Methodist Women group is actively involved in diverse activities, from fundraising for missions to creative projects like sewing.
Additionally, we host weekly studies for adults on Monday mornings and Wednesday evenings, providing an enriching space for learning and spiritual growth.

Food Pantry
At Lake Ann United Methodist Church, we are deeply committed to supporting our community through vital services like our Food Pantry. Open to anyone in need, our pantry is a beacon of hope and sustenance. We are proud to partner with the Food Rescue Program and the Northwestern Food Coalition to ensure our shelves are stocked with a diverse array of foods and our freezers are filled with bread and meat.
Located in the lower level of our Village Church, we strive to make a difference by providing essential resources to those facing food insecurity. Assisting our community in this way is not just a mission, but a heartfelt duty we undertake with compassion and dedication.
The Pantry is open:
-
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9am - 12pm
-
Wednesdays: 4:30pm - 6:30pm
We welcome all who have need and are here to serve with open hearts and helping hands.
