About Family Ministries Director Katie Nellermoe:

Hello! My name is Katie Nellermoe, and I just arrived from Washington State to take on the role of Director of Family Ministries at Lake Ann United Methodist Church here in Lake Ann, Michigan. I couldn’t be more excited to begin living in this beautiful and welcoming community!

I’ve heard so many good, wonderful, even awesome things about this Friday Play Group!

I’m so excited to get to know you all and meet your delightful children. A little about me: I was born and grew up in Washington State, where I have had a lot of training working with children and youth. I worked as an assistant preschool teacher, a before-and-after-school program leader, and a volunteer youth group leader (for seven years!). I have been trained in Pediatric CPR, AED, and First Aid, as well as Blood-Borne Pathogens, and have a (Washington State) Food Handler’s Card. Your child or children are in good hands and will be safe when in my care. Moreover, their physical wellbeing will be ensured, but also their spiritual wellbeing. I grew up in a church, and I know what a wholesome, moral, and spirit-filled childhood can be like, and I want that for every child I encounter. If you’d like more information on that, let me know! Again, I’m so excited to be here and meet you all!
