OUR
MINISTRIES

Children's Ministry
Children and their families are super-important to us. We are grateful for the opportunity to share in their lives. We also believe that it is important to share with them the stories of faith and are always excited when they participate in the life of the church. Most of all we recognize that they often teach us life lessons that grown-ups can easily miss.
Children's Sunday School is offered during the 9am service to children Pre-K through 5th grades. Children are invited to attend worship first and head for Sunday school following Children's Moment. Nursery is available for children up to age 5.
Vacation Bible School is one of our favorite weeks each summer, usually held toward the end of June. The community is always invited to be part of this fun and faith growing experience!
Youth Ministry
The youth at LAUMC are some truly wonderful people. We are a unique group that loves to be together, whether it's out doing service for someone else or throwing a basketball around in the gym. We are open to any and all young people from 6th - 12th grades.

Adult Ministries
At Lake Ann UMC we have so many opportunities to get plugged in. Our small groups called “Growth Groups” are a great way to get to know people on a more personal level. You can also join up with our United Methodist Men’s group that enjoy a devotional and Breakfast twice a month. Our United Methodist Women group does everything from fundraising for missions to sewing! On top of these opportunities we have weekly studies at the church on Monday mornings and Wednesday evenings for adults. See our Google Calendar to find out what’s coming up, or Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for all the latest action.
Food Pantry
The LAUMC Food Pantry is open to any and all who have need. We have partnered up with the Food Rescue Program. The pantry is located in the lower level of our Village Church. We do our best to keep the shelves stocked with all sorts of food and the freezers full of bread and meat.
The Pantry is open Tuesday and Thursday 9am-12pm and Wednesdays from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Please give the office a call if you need to set up a time that is more convenient for you! (231) 275-7236

The groups meet on the second and fourth Fridays of each month from 10:00am to 11:30am at our Community Center located at 19990 First Street in Lake Ann. Our goal is to strengthen families and facilitate child development as the children play together and parents have the opportunity to network. Call Barb Keelan at 275-2919 with any questions.
